Cosmolo Rush — Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the Cosmolo Rush application by GLOBAL RUSH, TOV handles information. It applies to the Android version of the application distributed through Google Play.
How the App Works
Cosmolo Rush is a night-sky observing companion. It offers on-device tools: an eyepiece calculator that pairs a telescope with an eyepiece to give magnification, exit pupil and true field of view; an exposure calculator that works out the longest frame a lens can take before stars trail; a sky-quality estimate built from the Bortle class, moon phase and haze you describe; and a session log where those figures are kept with a short note. Every figure is worked out on the device from the values you type.
Data Stored on Your Device
The session entries you save, the notes you attach to them and your language preference are stored locally in the application's private storage using standard Android SharedPreferences. Removing an entry with a swipe deletes it, and uninstalling the application removes the whole store together with the application package.
Promotional Content
The application may present promotional material from third-party partners. Those destination pages are operated by independent third parties and are governed by their own privacy policies. To prepare and measure this material, the application uses the components listed below.
Advertising
The application includes the Unity Ads SDK to deliver advertising content. To present and measure advertisements, this component may access your device's advertising identifier and standard device and network attributes, in accordance with Unity's privacy policy.
Software Components
The Android build integrates the following components, each governed by its own provider's privacy policy:
- Google Play Services — standard Android system integration required for Google Play distribution and runtime checks.
- Google Fonts — the Sora and Karla typefaces are bundled inside the application package as local font files.
- Firebase Analytics — aggregate usage measurement provided by Google.
- Firebase Remote Config — lets GLOBAL RUSH, TOV adjust application settings without shipping a new release.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivers notifications to the application.
- Unity Ads — advertising delivery and measurement.
Device Information
The components above receive the standard technical attributes an Android application exposes to them: the application instance identifier, the advertising identifier, the device model and operating-system version, and the application version. GLOBAL RUSH, TOV reads aggregate measurement from these components and does not keep a separate copy of them.
Children's Use
The application is intended for users aged sixteen and older.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when the application's behaviour changes. The current version is always available at this page on globalrushtov.space.
